As an arts insider and celebrity photographer, Racheal’s work takes her behind the scenes and around the world. As much as she loves capturing dynamic moments, she delights in capturing the beauty in the every day.
So where can you find her? When she’s not in the theatre, on the red carpet, trekking through vineyards in the Loire Valley or creating corporate avatars, she’s home in Toronto working from the studio.
Her clients include Cirque du Soliel, Gap Inc., Facebook Canada, The Factory Theater, The Musical Stage Company (formerly Acting UpStage), Ross Petty Productions, Second City Toronto, The Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Wine Country Ontario. Her work is regularly featured in every major Canadian media outlet, including The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Sun Media, National Post, Canadian Living, Now Magazine and Post City Magazines.
Since 2010 she’s been the resident photographer for the Canadian division of BroadwayWorld, the world’s largest theatre resource.
In 2017, her work was proudly exhibited in both Givenchy en Gohelle and in Paris, France as part of the Official Commemorations for the 100th anniversary of Vimy Ridge. Je Me Souviens: Vimy 100 then came home to Canada for a cross-country tour.
She was presented with 2 Medals of Honour from France for her work on this project and her contribution to Veterans Affairs.
She also works with Opera Atelier and teaches photography to the amazing kids at Square Circle and the TDSB.
You can catch her live @RachealMc.
When the Toronto Star called Racheal “a marvel”, she was both humbled and proud.
If being an arts insider and celebrity photographer weren’t enough, she’s also an award-winning writer. Five award-winning musicals, three commissioned blogs, and countless history, lifestyle and parenting articles have built a diverse and successful portfolio.
Her work is regularly featured in media outlets including Canadian Living, The Globe and Mail, Metro Media, Sun Media, Savvymom and the Toronto Star, along with corporate clients such as Energizer, Microsoft, and the LCBO.
You can catch her live @RachealMc, and please ask her about Opera Atelier, Square Circle and Tapestry Opera.
